Name History: Named after Dr. Leon Ladner in honour of his donation of $150,000 to the construction of this tower.

Notes: This 121 feet clock tower is built in honor and memory of the pioneers of B.C., in particular Thomas Ellis and William Henry Ladner. It is operated and controlled by a master clock mechanism installed in the Carillon equipment building beside it.
