There was used to have a suspension bridge here connecting both sides of the river. Every year, the town is used to be flooded with Mekong River water. The bridge was an important element for economy development and provided an easy access for people from the other side of the river to downtown of Moc Hoa. Due to the careless technical inspection of the local government towards the bridge, the bridge was broken down because of rusting and water corrosion. The transportation now is getting more difficult and longer for people on the other side. Many hope a new bridge will be built to break off the isolation of the area.
