  Lovely man owns the place. Polite, capable staff. Yoga retreat post-monsoon and into the new year. Very quiet all year. "All-veg, no booze policy" makes for a party-free resort zone. Good on-site kitchen provides hearty and ample local fare. Take some walks on the easily-accessed off-property trails but wear your rose-colored glasses. These treks make for fair bird-watching but little else can be seen as this property is representative of what this once-forested sacred land has become i.e. the barren victim of heedless extraction and over-use. Follow the moonscape contour/erosion lines downhill toward the Bhima and it dawns on you that, while this is not quite an American-style forest clearcut, it's pretty darn close!
