As the Jam Bagh fruit market between Moazamjahi Market and Gowliguda was getting congested, this fruit market was set up about 1990. From 4 am truck loads of fruit reach this spot. One finds both wholesale and retail outlets. A branch of Bank of Baroda exists on its premises. Reasonably well-maintained. Kudos to traffic branch, for they police the spot well.
