What used to be a pleasant little beach village is now a fairly ruined package tour destination. It's still okay, with some decent, if overpriced taverna's along the road leading to the beach, but there are far too many concrete resorts and loud tourists. Frequent bus connections to Aegina town make it a worthwhile day trip. Take the bus to the temple of Aphaia up on the hill above, then walk down to the town.
