  Sorry to disagree but I visited the crater, shown on tourism maps, when I was in the area in 1968.

  and there was no sinkhole there, just a shallow crater with a raised edge around it. There was no road to it in the 1960's and I backed away when I saw the guards at a Persian border post watching me through their binocular telescopes.

  In the photo - a typical karst subsidence, (hollow?, deepening?), but not a meteorite crater. I will try to go there, to look closer. Fotoğraflar tipik bir karst düşmek (dalışıdır?), Meteor krater değildir. Oraya gidip daha yakından bakmaya çalışacağım. На фотографии - типичный карстовый провал, а не метеоритный кратер. Постараюсь туда съездить, самому посмотреть поближе.
