Riverside pines is a residential development founded in the early 1980's by Howard Gorsline and Sam Gentile.
After purchasing the property, they developed the existing forest and farm land by adding roads, then sectioning off building lots and park area. The development is now entirely owned by the residents, with a home owners association and the township maintaining the roads and common areas.
Of particular interest is Ravenstone, a log cabin estate built by the late Howard Gorsline. The main house was built by Gordon Wannamaker, and can be seen from both the road and the river. The compound also has a number of other out buildings, including a workshop, a guest chalet, and two gazebos.
