  • Actually - that's not true. The town was never negotiating for the gonsenhauser farm. It was negotiating for the groos farm, and Mr. Groos would not sell it to the town. So the church offered to buy it and sell the town what they needed, because the church had enough land along the cooridor to expand the park. The church did end up selling land to the town and are proceeding with their plans to build.
