Botanic Garden, phone 462-0480, fax 462-2483. In 1888 a botanic garden was laid out at adifferent place. In 1893 it was moved to the now place, were it was a regular meeting place to the inhabitants of St. John´s. In 1950 it was closed. It took 30 years to reopen it. In the early 1990th a hurricane destroyed large parts of it. Until today it never again flourished as before.
