  This the world famous Dehiwela Jumma Masjid. Its a place which brings us closer to almighty god and help us to find inner peace by submitting our will to almighty god. It also has a burial grounds where many people who were alive (like you and me are right now) are buried and awaiting the Day Of Judgment to either enter Heaven or Hell.

  I am very dissappointed by the present Government, reg the people protesting against the mosques all over the Island stating that all the mosques are illegal construction, they go on like this then the Muslims will not have a place in Ceylon. Our Muslim countries supported the Sri Lankan Government in war crimes was the 1st step for the people of Sri Lanka to go against the Muslims. According to the view of the protestation the picture shows that the Police is not trying to safeguard our Mosque they are defending there own people the monks and the sinhalese people, if out Muslims had attacked while they are protesting then the police would take action saying that the Muslims started the fight now show how patience our muslime people were in the mosque. You all Muslim people in Sri Lanka should go agisnt the Monks and the sinhalese people for protesting the mosques, The Government is not supporting at all, Dont believe the President Mahinda Rajapakse, He is the head of the courntry, by 1 call he can stop the protest by the people, he is not doing that why our Muslim Ministers are quiet, why they want to keep dragging this incident. This situation is very critical dont allow the sinhalese people to take our mosques situated in various places in our Island. As Muslims in Ceylon (Sri Lanka) you all must unite and stand for our rights for Muslims and Tamils. Since our Muslims supported the Government against the Tamils see the result you get in return. This is a math which you can conclude what the Government want to make Ceylon a Bhudist country and plant the Bodhi trees and temples and every junction of the cities. this is what they want to do. Once again i tell to stand for our rights. do you all think that the Bhudhist temples is constructed on there wholy land, this is what they say. The Government is showing that this is the Bhudhist country and the other religion in this country is the minority. Its a shame for our Muslims who supported the Government/
