Fairy's Toot (Nempnett Thrubwell)

The once massive Fairy Toot long barrow near Nempnett Thrubwell in North Somerset is now all but totally destroyed. The original size was about 60m long, 25m wide, on a north-south axis.
What remains is now largely flattened rubble with trees and scrub growing on it. Within the centre of the barrow are remains of a sheep shed or suchlike, almost certainly built using stones from the barrow.
