This is the temple from where Saint Tukaram Maharaj went to "vaikunth".
It is said that, Maharaj went vaikunth(Holly place/Heven) with his material body.
At the last day of his life he gave a Kirtan and the aabhanga was=
"aamhi jato aamuchy gava|
aamucha ram-ram ghyava||"
