St. Xavier’s School Doranda was started by Jesuit fathers at the request of public in January 1960.The school is an English medium school .The school is affiliated to the council for Indian school certificate examination, New Delhi. it also has a plus two section .The school is owned and run by Jesuit fathers under the name of St. Xavier’s Doranda, a registered society which also constitutes the governing body .The governing body has the sole authority in policy and decision making of the school .The responsible of the day by day running of the school is vested the principal for the high school and in the head master for the primary section.
