  • I stayed in Hinoo from 1946 to 1958 in AG Office Quarters. My father was an employee of AG Office. I studied in Ranchi Zilla School. Hinoo Friends Union Club and Library, established in 1913, was indeed a very cultured institution for Bengalis. I vividly remember the independence day of 1947 and Durga Pujas, celebrated each year with much enthusiasm. I indeed feel lucky to have spend my childhood in a great place. Subhasis Sen, Nagpur
