Time + Light Tower (Raleigh, North Carolina)

This 40-foot tall metal tower is covered in panels that reflect sunlight and break it into the colors of the rainbow. It was built in the mid-1990s as part of Raleigh's bicentennial. Most people don't know why it's there. The people who have lived here a long time barely even notice it anymore.
