UIC Behavioral Sciences Building (Chicago, Illinois)

USA / Illinois / Chicago / Chicago, Illinois / West Harrison Street, 1007
 office building, classroom

Supposedly designed by a neuroscientist who modeled it on the brain. Most people think of it as the rat maze. It's pretty fun to get lost in, if you ever have an hour to kill.

  • Nice Polygon!!!
  • I think trying to orient myself while in that convoluted structure would ~cause~ neurological problems --at least with me. ; )
  • It was designed by the architect Walter A. Netsch between 1963-1968. https://www.som.com/publication/walter-netsch-interviewed-detlef-mertins
