Village of Lere, better known by the name of Kampong Lere, is the center of the ancient kingdom of Palu (XVII century). Here lies the historical relics such as Souraja (Palu King's Palace), there is also the Tomb Datokarama (Abdul Raqie) scholars from West Sumatra who spread Islam in Palu valley at approximately the seventeenth century.
