  Herur, is now becoming an important village where the village sorrounded by lush green and a beautifull river and it is becoming an important place to visit famous temples of Lord SriRnaganatha Swamy and godess Kanumemaramma

  9/12/2012 and 10/12/2012 are two days to remember in the history of herur and sorrounding area of sira taluk. on these days nearly about 12000 people arround these area have witnessed the inaguration of the temple of Lord Shri Ranaganatha swamy and also had an oppurtunity to see nearly 15 utsavamurthy s in one place which is a very rare occassion it was no doubt an history that herur witnessed and took the blessing of God lord Ranganatha swamy
