Queen Elizabeth II Park is a multi-use stadium in Christchurch New Zealand that is currently used mostly for football matches and athletics. It is also used for greyhound racing, and hosts many other local international sporting events. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people. It was constructed in 1973 to host the 10th British Commonwealth Games in 1974. It also contains a athletics track as well as a public swimming and diving pool. There is also a cricket ground behind the main complex called "The Village Green" which is the home of the Districts first class cricket team, the State Canterbury Wizards.
