Home of Special Interest Housing at Rutgers University; It is known for the golden clock on top of its even more infamous Cupola. It contains an Art Room where students can mark up the walls however they wish, lounges with murals painted by former students and was and still is home to many an amazing human being.

Demarest Hall, erected in 1950, was named after William Henry Steele Demarest (1863-1956). Demarest was President of Rutgers College, 1906-1925, and Trustee of Rutgers from 1899-1947. Demarest later became President of the New Brunswick Theological Seminary, 1925-35.
