Built in 1910, Irwin Gardens were built to complement the Irwin Home, which was completed in 1864. The landscape includes a Roman garden house, an Italian-style garden, 7,500-square-foot greenhouse for annuals, and numerous fountains. The grounds were designed after a garden in Pompeii, Italy.
