  • Thanks for giving us an opprtunity to see our home town on the world map.Its really an Incredible opprtunity. sanjay London
  • Thanks, I was not able to locate Pusla so close. This is very helpful. This is my father's home town and my family is dedicated to do lot for Pusla. My father, Sharad Bhagwatkar (age 68 on Dec 09) runs international marathons (21/42 kms) every year. He always thinks, children from small village can come forward if exposure is provided. Recently, we built Jain temple in Pusla and executed a very ping Panchakalyanak Puja in Jan 2008. First time, remowned people from US visited here. We also promoted Pusla via different media forms. http://jainmandirpusla.org/. Currently, we are organizing a month long Art workshop in Pusla. There are visting artists from US, and different places of India. This workshop is intended to provide support in creativity. Many poor children and women will get exposure and benefit with this workshop. More details on http://ayudashilp.org.
  • i think this place has lotsof heritage so i should be visite there..i would like to come to see your town..when we will arenge to plan for outing we will there.
  • It feels so good to see alll of u commenting on Pusla. Most of u or rather all, since in a village everyone knows each other, could ask your elders and they they would probably be knowing my family, Chaorashe. I always wanted to see Pusla on the world map. I felt very jealous of those American girls who set up a Art school. I m being honest. Because I felt I should try and be the first to do something related to art in Pusla. Anyway, I m very happy for Pusla.
  • Hi Pramod, Do you know Sharad Chaorashe?
  • Ofcourse Harsh, He is my father's cousin and the place where he is now running his Grocery store is my ancestral home. I had been to pusla abt 9 yrs back. wud love to visit again soon. I just want to see the small village on the world map for the best it can give. I m searching what could it be??????? Oranges, red chillies, .........what else???????? The Hanuman temple is ranked amongst the top 50 hanuman temples in India.... r u aware of this fact??????? was thrilled to know that...... The world is a small place Harsh. lets keep in touch and also start a group of Pusla-ites the world over...... what say?????? catch me on the face book..... bye and take care.......
  • Dear Harsh and Pramod Good to see Pusla-ites on this page. I know both your families. Sharad was my classmate in primary/middle and a close friend - we used to study together.Subhash/Manik schoolmates. I did my SSC from Morshi and college a few years at VMV Amravati.Moved to Mumbai in 1962. Still was in touch once in a while with Sharad till he was in Nagpur - I think Ravinagar.I read on the net about Sharad and you renovating Jain temple. Unfortunately I couldn't meet Sharad when I was in Pusla last year - I go sparingly n for a day or two. Dear Pramod : I know your family too very well. One Chaorashe was about 2/3 years senior to me. I think he went to Ratlam for working in Railways. Your house is close to Bhagwatkars' About Hanuman Temple I really didn't know. I thought only Vitthal Mandir was unique. Good to see you guys going so far, doing very well and yet emotionally Puslaites. Bravo! My good wishes to you for even brighter future. Since 1963, I have been in Insurance, first life then Non-life. Retired in 2002 and running for somebody a private Reinsurance Broking Company. Traveled many countries. Was to US twice; last year been to Boston, New york, Miami, Bermuda in Apr- May 2010 My good wishes to you for the very best to you and your families - don't want to say Blessings as I would love to b a friend to you guys.Of course, I shall also be 68 like Sharad on May 02 this year. I am on Facebook and email : solankirm@gmail.com Cheers
  • 09 MAY 2011 It is about four months I had posted my comments. No update since then? No One visits this any longer? Sad. I thought there were some with roots in Pusla to enjoy participation in exchange of messages on Pusla Page!!! If you have time, do visit and post your thoughts. Ram
