  • Sometimes. Some stations are looser then others.
  • On May 31, 2012 we were returning to our home in Sparks, Nevada after visiting the Oregon area. We were on Hwy. 395 and stopped at the inspection station. The man that was on duty at the time was rude, insulting and arrigant. He said he had to come into our motor home which was fine. He proceeded to our refrigerator without asking and open the doors. He went through our food without having gloves on and touched our vegetables and all other products that were in the refrigerator. We had oranges, limes, several fresh vegetables that he did not take. He did, however, that three large avacados and came to me and said they were a product of Chili and pointed a white spot on it and said it was a bug. His attitude was very cocky. We bought those avacados in Redding, CA on our way up I5 heading to Oregon. I happened to have the netting that was on the avacados in the garbage and it said they came from California. My point here is apparently that person wanted avacados for his dinner that night. I feel the state should run a manner and personality test on there employees. He was a disgrace to the State of California. Carolee Chappell Sparks, NV
