Originally the Lindsay Tavern. Oldest part of the building is over 200 years old. Lafayette addressed the citizens of Wells from the front steps on his way out of the country after the American Revolution

  • Wonderful to have another restaurant in walking distance from the lovely Sea Orchard Inn. We can't wait. Our family stays at the Sea Orchard Inn (1682 Post Road) every summer and if we had the time and the skills of the current innkeepers we would buy it in a heartbeat (it is for sale). Actually, with the economy the way it is, running an inn and being in charge of our own financial destination by putting money in a real asset that actually gives something back is more and more appealing.
