Roman catholic abbey church built in 1220-56, in Romanesque style, dedicated to St. George. Together with the nearby St. James' Chapel, it is one of the earliest and most important historic buildings in Hungary. The foundation of the Ják clan's castle and donjon, erected in the Árpád Dynasty's period, have recently been found and identified on the site of the former "abbot's house".
