Mesolithic age or old sheet over 11,000 years Before Masehi.Terdapat more than 70 settlements. Among these are the Guar mussels in Kedah, Jenderam River, City of rod, City Gelanggi, Small Cave Hill Cintamanis in Pahang.

There is also evidence of the existence of settlements in the Cave Cha, Kelantan and the Niah Caves in Sarawak (Abdul Rahman Haji Abdullah, 1989:7)
Research at the Niah Caves done by Tom Harrison since 1954. He had met a boy aged 15 years an estimated age of 40,000 years ago. This human skull including the nature of homo sapiens (Harrison, 1972:3)

Studies of soil layers also show the presence of people from the early days of alternating homo until modern times. Cultural traditions in the early mesolithic in Southeast Asia known as the cultural Hoabinhian.

Among the key aspects of cultural Hoabinhian is making bone tools, pottery and traditional tanam.Industri Bercocok was also found in several places in North Vietnam, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula and in northeast Sumatra.

Hoabinhian stone industry is characterized by core tools such as edge and stone ground tarahan Axes grind (G. de G. Sieveking, 1990:14).
Between the base-famous * mesolithic site is Cave Life, Thailand, Da Phuc, Sai Yuk and Bac Bo in Thailand.
