Pookode Lake

Pookode Lake is a scenic lake in Wayanad district, Kerala, South India. The lake is surrounded by forests, and boating is allowed. Recent commercial modernizations have removed some of its wilderness charms. Pedal boats and Row boats are available in this lake. Operated and maintained by the Tourism department. The lake has a walk way around it's periphery. When viewed from the top resembles to the shape of India.
