The Phantom's Revenge is a steel roller coaster at Kennywood Park, in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. It was originally named The Steel Phantom, which was built in 1991 by Arrow Dynamics. After the 2000 season, The Steel Phantom underwent extensive changes by Morgan Manufacturing, most notably the removal of all its inversions. It is believed this was done because of how rough the coaster was on riders heads/necks, due to many complaints from riders. This modified coaster reopened for the 2001 season as the Phantom's Revenge. Although the first hill is only 160 feet high, the second hill drops riders 228 feet into a ravine. This strategic use of the park's hilly terrain makes is one distinguishing feature. The Phantom's Revenge now has a top speed of 82 mph, putting it in a tie for 7th place of the world's fastest coasters, along with the Xcelerator of Knott's Berry Farm
