Argao, officially the Municipality of Argao, (Cebuano: Lungsod sa Argao; Tagalog: Bayan ng Argao), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 72,366 people.

  • Pitlagong Festival every 26th of September is a tribute to the tradition of townfolk's faith, celebrations, food, work, livelihood, arts and crafts. Pitlagong is an instrument for cleaning the "sugong" which is a bamboo container for coconut wine of "tuba" which is very important to the taste and quality of the tuba.
