Constructed around 1923, the Crest is a two-story brick apartment building distinguished by ornate brick and terra cotta facade treatments. The windows and doorways are highlighted in beige-glazed terra cotta, over gold brick, with plain red brick used for the sides and rear. The building name is inscribed on the escrutcheon over the portal. Such ornate Renaissance Revival design is unusual for a small scale apartment building.
