El Charrito Restaurante Mexicano Cantina offers good mexican food at a low price. The Mexican restaurant was founded in 2005 and opened in January 2007 as El Campesino Restaurante Mexicano Cantina before becoming El Charrito in 2013. The Mexican restaurant is located at the Travelodge site on West Hanley Road near the I-71/OH 13 Exit 169 in Mansfield, Ohio.

This restaurant was formerly Denny's from 1990 to 2002. Was also formerly LK Family Restaurant from 1974 to 1989. According to Richland County, OH Property Records, the newer LK Family Restaurant & Motel (El Charrito and Travelodge today) that were built in pretty brownish color brick were built in 1974. The older two-story LK hotel (part of Travelodge today) that is located just down the hill a little bit next to the newer LK motel and restaurant was built in 1971. The older LK Family Restaurant use to be located just down the Hanley Road hill where the McDonald's is located today. That LK Family Restaurant that was located at 25 West Hanley Road was built in 1972 and was demolished in 1980 to make way for a new McDonald's.
