  • I was stationed at Camp Angevillers from 1953 to 1955. My memories there are priceless. I am planning on going back to Europe in 2009 to lake my last look at the places I was at when I was in the army there and other places that I was at in Europe. I was with the Signal Corps, 17th Signal Batallion. We had our communications set up inside the Maginot Line. At the time I was there, I was not aware of the history of the Maginot LIne. We entered at the Rochonviller entrance which I found it was a munition entrance at one time. I'm fully aware that everything has changed since I was there but I am surely looking forward to the trip. Dale H
