Thalavil is an old vilaage. It has a long history of human life. Here are two temples of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. From this village ruins of ancient human settlement have been found. This village was a headquarters of localchieftains since 1600 AD. It is a hilly area not far than 25km Westrn Ghats. This feature gives a very cool and splendid atmosphere here.Many Rock cut caves,Nannangadies and historical remnents hadbeen found.
