Cottage Slaná Voda (Salt water) is a famous tourist place located at the foot of Babia hora in the mountain area 3 km from the village Oravská Polhora. From Cottages saltwater marked hiking trails lead to the Babia hora and tourist crossing into Poland. In the vicinity of salt water mineral springs are located: in particular, iodine-bromine water. It is a place of ancient baths. From seawater, we can get to the alley Hviezdoslavova Horáreň to Podvršie Hviezdoslavova hájovňa (woodsman´s house) is a permanent exhibition Hájnikova Žena (Woodsman´s women) as well as the life of another important writer Milo Urban). Surroundings saltwater experts call ”virgin nature“
