  • Thurusampalayam, a small hamlet in Jambai Village basically agrarian economy is coming to lime ligth with literacy improving in the village. People from this village occupy good positions in Tamilnad. It has a temple known as Periakaruppswamy temple and there is a strong belief that people with mental disorder if they come regularly on Friday evening pooja getting a miraculous cure without medicine. People in this village avoid using any black items as the Deity at Periakaruppswamy may ot like it. Even people do not take buffaloes to the near vicinity of the temple. Only one Thondai Mandala Saiva Mudaliar family resides in the village for the past 100 years. The place is known for its tasty brinjal and pumpkin. Corn, Tapioca,Turmeric are the major produce of this village. In the outskirt of the village many educational institutions are there and it is becoming a eductional hub of Bhavani and Anthiyur Taluk. No District Collector has visited this place so far and the place is known for its peace and communal harmony.
