The Renaissance building of the castle has four wings and one floor with a central courtyard. The facade has been decorated by Renaissance graffiti. On the external side of the gate was inserted the plate heraldry of the castle builder Adam Vratislav of Mitrovice and his wife Salomena. In the base of the battlements tower is the emblem representing the last owner - the Canonry of metropolitan cathedral of St. Vitt in Prague. In the east wing of the castle is the entry passage to the park with a Baroque fountain and pond. The castle rooms were largely adapted to their modern uses, but only a small part of them can be used for the exhibition reasons to show history of the city and local crafts. In some ground floor rooms have been preserved Renaissance domes. Ceremonial and concert hall has the Renaissance cassette lid. The castle was reconstructed after 1990 with a large cost. It is the foremost decoration of the Spalene Porici.
For interest in this castle were in past two times hidden the Czech Kongdom crown jewels.
