Theruvath kadave is an old town in Calicut/Kozhikkode District. Many years before there was a famous Saturday Market, a boat Jetty and a tile factory. This place is near Raman river, which is a tributary to the famous Korappuzha. A famous festival is also there Kannabalatheru Mahothsavam which is usually in March every year, it lasts for seven days. Some granite deposits is located near the town during the late 90's, This place is enriched with beautiful landscapes and many myths. People live here with harmony and peace.
