Labrador Seafood’s history began as early as the 1800s when Singapore was a British colony. Then, Labrador beach was a popular recreational sports and seaside resort with residents living in villas and beach houses. The coral reef and Ah Sum’s seafood hut were its main attractions which saw the patronage of who’s who among merchants and senior officers of the royal British navy. Ah Sum’s seafood hut at Labrador was the place away from the trading noise of town; it was a place where good friends found great food.

The battle of pasir panjang had its way and Ah Sum’s hut was no more.

Today, despite Labrador’s evolving history alongside the remains of the fort, Labrador Seafood relive the days of old serving authentic seafood & bbq in the same spirit. Labrador Seafood was architecturally designed with its food created by its village seafood cooks and its signature bbq lobster takes you back to its roots.
