  • gender segregation is an unhealthy practice for all ages and situations, especially in education that is supposed to make the mind free of prejudice and unscientific notions or superstitions. It contributes to backwardness. However it has the good point that irls who might hesitate to go to a far away coed college might be more easy being in a far away girls only college, which might promote the education of girls.
