  whoever wants to relax - and indeed can, given that it is in the mountain yet has milder climate than the villages who are higher up and have colder climate, also, resting on a river, where you can swim and literally chill out - they can. the monastery is renovated, and is open for renting rooms, and also some of the inhabitants(more than half have cottages/villas and don't live there) are open to renting out. The skies at night seem almost unreal, or photoshopped...everything seems idyllic aesthetically, the air, the land is clean and clear. I think you get the point by know. There are few good hiking spots, an old fortress, or going upstream enjoying the scenic surroundings, or chilling at the nearby(10kms) restaurant - which at weekends is so busy it requires reservation. There is another one, but further away, 30kms from Teovo in the opposite direction, on the edge of the road, in the heart of the mountain they have fish farm, and a hotel. Reply if interested, for VERY affordable prices> the monastery rooms are 5euros a night.
