Is anyone knows why this town doesn't exist anymore? I lived in this beautiful area way back 1974 to 1975. My dad used to work in Palawan Apitong Corp. We had our small school in Sta. Lucia. during my childhood this place is full of life, like kids paradise...Could anyone tell me. I could see the old church where Fr. Talavera used to have mass and other memorable religious activities. Where are the people and houses, also the penal colony? Please let me know.

I'll just got here last monday. i'm doing research here at south sea exclusive philippines inc. i think people migrated outside the town because of lack in livelihood in this area and no work availability.

I guess transmigration is inivitable because of people's search for greener pastures. Many barangays also from my province's Banton municipality are now ghost towns and its villages now deserted because of unhospitable terrain, frequency of typhoons, no job opportunities and younger generations are adventurous who want's to try their luck in the big city.
