  • I have visited this hill many times. Peacefull place to devote lord Markandeya. This hill is surrounded by forest. So you see lot of tree's around, full of greenary. This temple tells you the story when "Yama" came to take "Markandeya's" Soul. You can see the "Yama" pasha's marks in side the temple. There would be celebrations during "Shivrathri" and other holy days. Road is well constructed, so problems in reaching the top of the hill. So take your vehicle and drive to this devine plance once. You would also appreciate the nature around this hill. People are available in Vakkaleri Village to help you to do Pooja in the temple. Try to visit the temple during morinig or evening as it would be convinient to get purohit's to do pooja. God bless. Take care and Have fun.
