The baroque manor founded by Adam Heinrich Graf von Steinau, the austro-hungarian field-marshall in 1706, build-up 1720 by Antonie countess Czernin of Chudenice, in the Czernin ownership till 1816, when the castle inherited Christian count Wallenstein-Wartenberg. As of 1967 the castle has been in the Czech State ownership and comes through a large reconstruction.
