This site now contains the Sunroad Office Block, which created an enormous political scandal in 2007. It was built as a 12-story, 180-ft block, and the developer showed that he had a permit for that height. However, it was in contravention of FAA regulations limiting the height of buildings near airports (in this case Montgomery Field, to the south). After an enormous fight, two stories were demolished and the height reduced to 160ft.
