Jain hills is a green and a picturestic hill situated at the centre of Mangalore city.
It is full of Mango, Coconut, Jackfruit, Jamun and other fruit barring trees. Jain hills is acting as a lung space to the increasingly polluted city of Mangalore(Kudla). The Unique feature of Jain Hills is one can see the dawn (rising) of Sun out of the cradle of Western Ghats and lastly setting in the great Rathnakara (Arabian Sea) during the dusk. The pleseant breeze blowing from the sea keeps the jain hills cool. Many creatures like Mangoose, Phyton, Nightingale, Wildcat, Blackviper, Eagle, tortise and many other tropical animals and birds have found their habitat here. Shri M.K Nabhiraj a 93 year young gentleman has served in upbringing and protecting the flora and fauna of the jain hills. Mr.M.K Suvrath kumar and Mr. M.K Vipul Tej the grand children of Mr.Nabhiraj are carrying forward the legacy of nature preservation even today.
