Beartown Lakes Reservation is a 149-acre park located in both Auburn and Bainbridge townships. The highlights of this park include a mature beech-maple forest and more than 22 acres of open water. It is Geauga Park District’s intent to protect this natural area in perpetuity.

Three picnic areas are available. North Point Shelter overlooks Lower Bear Lake, while Minnow Pond Shelter is nestled in the woods. Amenities include electricity, water and nearby restrooms. North Point Shelter also includes a playground. Both of these shelters can be reserved by calling the Park District. A third, smaller pavilion is located along the Lake Trail.
