  • Lala HariSaran Halwai used to have a Halwai shop, with excellent soft lonh Gulab Jamuns, in the 1960s. He had a house with several flats given on rent (two storied, four flats). Any idea about it now? The hill slopes in front of that house were unoccupied. A lot of Pudina ( Mint ) used to grow wild, and also a lot of Bhang ( Cannabis ) for which pickers used to some when the leaves were ready in a particular season.
