  • 150-foot diameter parabolic dish, built in 1962 for atomic bomb upper atmosphere research. Later used for many experiments in radar and radio astronomy.
  • Also used for Fun and Science Outreach in Moon Bounce Communications, 5/26/09 Provides very strong easy to read voice communications that are directed at the moon, and easily heard, 2.5 seconds later on earth.
