freemason / masonic temple, Neoclassical (architecture)
Farmington Masonic Temple, originally built in 1917, is a beautiful representation of the growth of Freemasonry in the early 20th century. Corinthian Lodge #67 continues to meet in the building to this date.
It is a notable example of the Neoclassical Revival mode in commercial architecture and the property’s historic use by fraternal organizations and small business enterprises also reflects an important broad pattern in downtown history.
