Located in the original keepers house for the Point Judith Lighthouse, USCG Station Point Judith is part of the US Coast Guard's 1st District. The station's AOR is approximately 70 miles of coast, including Block Island which has a seasonal Small Boat Station operates directly under Station Point Judith’s command.
The station utilizes a 47’ Motor Lifeboat, a 27’ Safe boat, and a 25’ Defender Class Boat, all of which are docked in nearby Galilee and conducts approximately 170 search and rescue cases a year.
